AVMM is a female-owned and operated fashion house based in Berlin. We offer design solutions for the modern muse, to uplift her spirits, and facilitate authentic and empowered living.
Inspired by modern art and architecture, as well as a slower and more holistic-focused lifestyle, our designs embody understated elegance which elevates the everyday.
All of our clothing and accessories are produced in Europe, in either made-to-order and limited edition or small-batch production. We opted out of fast fashion seasonal collections and have instead curated a base foundation of timeless classics, which we add to only when inspiration strikes.
We aim to use our ‘house’ as a platform to connect with the real women in our growing community who are living inspired lives of self-discovery and authenticity. We design for them with the future in mind, while always striving to live in the present moment.
AVMM is A Very Modern Muse.
Head Designer & Founder
Originally from Northern California,
Molly McDonnell has been based in Berlin for almost two decades, where she works as the owner and head designer of AVMM Store. Aside from also being a mother of a toddler, she at the same time takes on private clients for wardrobe consulting, helping women learn how to dress authentically and curate their closets to better reflect their
unique taste and lifestyle needs.
Content Creator & Stylist
Ambra writes about sustainable fashion, natural beauty and travel on her blog, The Flair Edit. At AVMM, she curates content and social media to spread the word about the importance of pursuing a mindful mindset in fashion and lifestyle.
Journal Contributor
Ena Dahl is a Berlin-based storyteller and artist/muse. Steeped in sensuality, her writing seeks to unite sexuality and spirituality, ignite alchemical healing on a quest for wholeness, and empower women to step into their wildness (or wild-selves).
Video Artist
Liesel is a video artist splitting their time between their hometown of Copenhagen and Berlin. They attended and graduated from the Fine Arts Program of UdK and now exhibits their work internationally.
Photographer
Karin is a photographer working in the fields of fashion, portrait, and reportage. She studied fine arts in Berlin and currently lives in Basel. Her pictures are reduced and graphic in their visual language. She prefers to work within the transition between staging and coincidence.
